Embedded Software Engineering Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Software Engineer to join our Research and Technology department in Sydney.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain software for embedded systems using C/C++ programming languages.
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and contribute to the development of innovative solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science from a nationally accredited program or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience in software development on embedded platforms.
  • Strong understanding of low-level communication peripherals, network communication protocols, and assembly language.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience with embedded operating systems, microcontroller architectures, and open data communications protocols.
  • Familiarity with software control of air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
  • Knowledge of hardware debugging tools and embedded Linux or WinCE operating systems.
