As a specialist in family law, child protection, and domestic and family violence, you will play a critical role in promoting justice, healing, and empowerment for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

About the Role

You will be responsible for delivering legal services that empower communities and transform lives. This includes representing clients in family law, child protection, and domestic and family violence matters, and collaborating with Aboriginal case support workers to provide culturally safe legal assistance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver trauma-informed, culturally safe legal services
  • Represent clients in complex family law, child protection, and DFV matters
  • Collaborate with Aboriginal case support workers to provide culturally safe legal assistance
  • Travel to remote communities as part of outreach and bush courts
  • Develop and deliver legal education programs for communities
