Equine Medicine Specialist Opportunity

Deliver high-class equine care at our state-of-the-art Veterinary Clinical Centre as an expert in Equine Medicine.
The role offers the unique opportunity to combine advanced clinical practice, academic leadership, and impactful research in a collaborative and supportive environment.
You will provide expert clinical services in equine medicine, lead undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, and contribute to the advancement of veterinary science through research and/or professional engagement.
To be successful in this role, you will possess advanced clinical and academic skills relevant to equine medicine. You will also have proven leadership and stakeholder engagement capabilities to engage with professionals bodies and industry stakeholders.
The successful candidate will be appointed to either a teaching research or teaching professional work function and will have access to relocation support.
About you
- A relevant qualification appropriate to the level being applied for, or equivalent experience, accreditation and standing in equine medicine.
- Current registration or eligibility for registration with the Veterinary Practitioners Board of NSW.
- Board certification by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine and/or the European College of Equine Internal Medicine and/or the Australian and NZ College of Veterinary Scientists or eligibility to sit board examination or equivalent.
- Commitment and experience in delivering high quality, student centred learning and teaching to undergraduate veterinary students.
