We are seeking a Casual Education Support Officer to join our team of professionals dedicated to supporting students with diverse learning needs.

The successful candidate will work under the direction of teachers to provide targeted support to students across the Junior and Senior School, as well as within the Students with Diverse Learning Needs team and Library. They will be responsible for developing a strong understanding of the educational needs of students, maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment respectful of diverse backgrounds, and working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve common goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide specific support to students under the direction of teachers.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of student learning needs.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment that respects diversity.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Relevant qualifications and experience in education or a related field.
  • Experience working with students with diverse learning needs.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
