Operational Readiness Specialist Role

This role is a pivotal part of our operational readiness team, focusing on asset hierarchy build, criticality assessments, and safe work procedure reviews.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain accurate asset hierarchies for the plant.
  • Conduct criticality assessments to identify high-risk assets.
  • Review and develop safe work procedures and plant area processing manuals.
  • Prepare and deliver monthly site project update slide packs and presentations.
  • Identify, procure, and deliver maintenance tooling and equipment for the new plant, ensuring fit-for-purpose solutions and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and schedule maintenance training programs for new plant staff.
  • Create site onboarding materials and implement effective roll-out strategies.
Requirements
  • A tertiary qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering, combined with extensive experience in a similar role or equivalent asset management experience at a senior level, preferably in a gold or mineral processing plant environment.
  • A strong understanding of asset management best practices and principles.
  • Solutions-focused individuals with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to anticipate and mitigate potential risks across their remit.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CMMS systems, preferably Pronto.
  • Familiarity with Mine Safety and Inspection Act & Regulations.
