The role of Sr. Flight Reliability Engineer is crucial to ensuring the Starship and Super Heavy vehicles are safe for flight.

This senior engineer has primary responsibility for identifying and mitigating risks associated with these spacecraft.

  • Owns risk tracking for a Starship Vehicle or component
  • Supports technical reviews including vehicle state machine reviews and joint operations reviews
  • Organizes flight readiness reviews and drives actions to completion
  • Communicates technical risks to executive leadership team
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
  • 5+ years of experience with engineering problem-solving
Preferred Skills
  • 8+ years of professional experience in aerospace engineering
  • SQL and/or Python programming experience
  • High proficiency with basic computer applications
