Workplace Health and Safety Officer
**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Workplace Health and Safety Officer to join our team at Combat Support Group (CSG). As a key member of our Work Health and Safety Team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees and stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Contribute to the development and implementation of work health and safety management systems to meet legislation and Defence policies.
* Participate in the development and delivery of work health and safety services and programs.
* Provide advice on the application of work health and safety legislation and Defence policies and procedures.
* Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks to health and safety.
* Conduct assessments and evaluations to ensure compliance with work health and safety legislation, policies, and procedures.
* Develop and implement strategies to improve work health and safety outcomes.
**Requirements**
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., occupational health and safety, public health, or a related field).
* Proven experience in work health and safety, preferably in a Defence or government environment.
* Strong knowledge of work health and safety legislation, policies, and procedures.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
