Job Title: Test Lead

The role of a Test Lead involves spearheading the testing efforts of an organization. It requires a deep understanding of the requirements and expected outcomes, as well as the ability to establish a comprehensive Testing Strategy.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and gain an understanding of requirements and expected outcomes with stakeholders;
  • Establish a Testing Strategy using a risk-based testing model that defines the scope of the testing required and identifies testing approach, tools, and reporting;
  • Determine skills and capabilities required to execute testing including from supporting areas such as data and analytics and work to resolve any capability gaps;
  • Provide education, training, and onboarding to the team on the Testing Strategy including supporting tools;
  • Initiate test planning including test case structure and design in collaboration with testers and stakeholders and with full traceability back to the requirements;
  • Identify and schedule testing cycles to support the testing effort;
  • Ensure that entry and exit criteria for each phase of testing is met;
  • Monitor progress of testing cycles including lodged observations and defects.

  • Proficiency in testing methodologies and tools;
  • Understanding of Agile development methodologies.

Requirements:

A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is required. Additionally, at least 9 months of experience in testing roles is necessary. The role is hybrid, allowing for flexibility in work arrangements.
