Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Plant Operator to join our team at a site in ARTARMON/BELROSE/RYDE. This is an ongoing temporary to permanent position with a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a variety of earthmoving equipment, including waste compactors, excavators, dump trucks, and bulldozers. They will also maintain a professional image, deliver high-quality customer service, and work safely in accordance with site rules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy machinery and equipment in a safe and efficient manner
  • Maintain equipment in good working order and report any issues promptly
  • Provide exceptional customer service and interact effectively with colleagues and clients
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve site goals and objectives
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in civil construction or waste management
  • A strong commitment to safety and a proven track record of maintaining a safe working environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills

Estimated Salary: $41,950 per annum + superannuation. The salary may vary based on experience and qualifications.
