Job Description
  • The Queensland Police Service prioritizes exceptional service delivery in a dynamic environment. As a key member of the Communications Group, you will play a vital role in enhancing community safety through high-quality support to frontline officers.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct thorough needs assessments with management to identify training requirements for staff, informing strategic development plans.
  2. Design and deliver targeted training programs that align with best practices, policies, and procedures, driving improved professional standards.
  3. Evaluate staff performance, preparing comprehensive reports based on these assessments.
  4. Contribute to the creation, implementation, and evaluation of training policies, best practices, procedures, and standards.
  5. Assess and evaluate internal training programs, ensuring their effectiveness and relevance.
  6. Maintain accurate information systems to track staff training and assessment, optimizing efficiency and consistency.
  7. Foster effective communication channels with internal and external stakeholders to enhance education and training outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Possession of a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) or an accredited tertiary qualification in adult education is highly regarded but not mandatory.
  • This is a non-shift role, although occasional afternoon shifts may be required, with shift penalties applicable in such instances.
  • Travel to Brisbane for training may occasionally be necessary.
