This is a key opportunity to join our organisation as an Indemnity Law Specialist.
The role involves working with multiple high-profile indemnity sectors, providing exceptional variety and challenges. As an experienced lawyer, you will work on leading high-stakes disputes and developing proactive commercial strategies.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading multi-party disputes and developing proactive commercial strategies
- Defending professionals (accountants, financial planners) against statutory investigations & fiduciary claims
- Representing clients in design/construct claims & coverage disputes
- Defending solicitors against malpractice claims and advising on environmental (EIL) coverage
- Acting for Directors and Officers in relation to class actions & regulatory investigations and advising on coverage and defence strategies
- Advising insurers on indemnity disputes, complex policy interpretation, and regulatory exposures.
We seek a candidate with 5+ years' defendant insurance experience, preferably in indemnity focus, and at least one year of experience as a Senior Associate. Additionally, they should have experience in mentoring junior lawyers and general commercial litigation and disputes lawyers are also encouraged to apply.
