Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality geriatric care to patients in a variety of settings, including acute, subacute, community, outpatient, and interim care.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of geriatric services, including the management of complex behavioral patients and consultation services across the Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service.
- Lead complex patient journey/discharge planning activities and participate in the Orthogeriatric service.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care and improve patient outcomes.
- Total remuneration value of up to $514,421 p.a. (dependent on experience)
- Professional Development Leave 3.6 weeks p.a.

Rockhampton Hospital is a 305-bed facility and is the main referral hospital for Central Queensland. The hospital provides a range of clinical services, including emergency medicine, general medicine, cardiology, renal medicine, palliative care, psychiatry, rehabilitation, geriatric medicine, and more.
Requirements- Applicants should be registered (or eligible for registration) as a specialist with the Medical Board of Australia and be a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) or equivalent.
