Job Title: Professional Nurse Specialist

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to advancing person-centred care across diverse communities in Sydney Local Health District.

About the Role:

This professional nursing role is responsible for the provision of evidence-informed and patient-centred nursing care that promotes identified health outcomes. The nurse specialist will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individuals and a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Sydney Local Health District values teamwork and may require staff to be redeployed to other centres within SLHD to support workload management and model of care.

To succeed in this position, you should possess current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) and demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development and maintenance of competence.
