Job Summary:

Acorn by Synergie is currently recruiting for a skilled Machine Operator to join their team in a well-established client in the manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Inspect and package various plastic goods with high precision and attention to detail.
  2. Monitor and maintain the consistency of production processes, identifying and addressing any faults or issues that may arise.
  3. Operate machines on a semi-automatic basis, as required, to optimize production efficiency.
  4. Perform manual handling tasks, including stacking pallets, wrapping, and moving pallets on pallet trolleys, to ensure smooth logistics.
  5. Conduct regular cleaning and maintenance of the workstation to maintain a safe and healthy working environment.
  6. Use cleaning solvents to clean mouldings, as necessary, to meet quality standards.
  7. Adhere to and promote the company's health and safety policies, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
  8. Train to operate multiple machines, increasing productivity and efficiency.
Essential Requirements:
  1. Previous experience working in a factory environment or a similar role, with a strong understanding of production processes.
  2. Desirable: injection moulding experience and knowledge of manufacturing equipment.
  3. Reliable transportation to and from work, as the location may require.
  4. Personal safety equipment, including safety boots, to be provided by the candidate.
Working Hours and Pay:
  1. Continentals.
  2. 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
  3. 12-hour shifts.
  4. Overtime paid at 125% and 150% of the hourly rate.
  5. Training will commence on a day shift, followed by a 2-day, 2-night shift pattern.
Compensation:

£11.69 per hour, plus a £45 attendance bonus for attending all requested hours.
