Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team.

About the Role:

This pivotal position involves ensuring operational efficiency, managing a dedicated team, and maintaining high service standards. As an Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for all site activities of receiving, processing, and distribution by providing quality finished vehicles in agreed service levels of major brands and related services to meet present and future needs of customers.

The role requires strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively. You will work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure seamless operations and provide coaching and mentorship to the team in developing their skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with customers and the Operations Manager in regard to ship arrivals
  • Organising and supervising yard staff to receive vehicles, including labour planning
  • Organising storage yard to accommodate incoming shipments
  • Monitor and review team performance
  • Provide strong leadership to the team
  • Coordinate regular toolbox meetings and follow up OH&S activities
  • Coach and mentor the team in developing their skills.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritise
  • Experience leading and developing a high performing team
