Job Description:

The Occupational Therapist will work collaboratively with families, educators, and other healthcare professionals to assess, plan, and implement therapy interventions that promote children's independence and participation in daily activities.

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pediatric Occupational Therapist who shares our vision of providing exceptional care and support to children and families.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to children's needs.
  • Provide play-based and functional therapy to improve engagement and participation.
  • Support children with sensory processing challenges, self-care skills, and handwriting difficulties.
  • Collaborate with families, schools, and educators to provide recommendations and strategies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience working with pediatric clients (preferred but not essential).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Passion for play-based therapy and early intervention.
  • Ability to work with children from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional growth.
