As a Casual teacher for Hospitality courses, your key responsibilities include:

- Deliver engaging education practices and sessions to learners.

- Ensure teaching materials meet regulatory standards and requirements.

- Foster a positive learning environment and encourage student autonomy.

- Adapt learning and assessment materials for diverse students and environments.

- Provide administrative support and services related to the taught areas.

- Assist in establishing, maintaining, and reviewing teaching programs.

- Create a respectful and safe learning space free from discrimination and harassment.

About You

You are a highly motivated individual with well-developed skills in knowledge transfer. You can research, select, and use various learning resources and assessment tools effectively.

Qualifications Required

- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) or qualifications that meet the Standards for RTOs 2015.

- Vocational qualifications at an AQF level based on the required teaching level and ability to teach across Hospitality competencies, at least AQF level 3- such as Certificate III in Hospitality or equivalent, or Certificate IV in Hospitality or equivalent or Diploma in Hospitality.

- Registration with relevant professional bodies for the teaching discipline.

- Record of Vocational Competency mapped to Units of Competency engaged to deliver.

- Record of Professional Currency demonstrating current industry and teaching knowledge.
