This role offers a stable contract environment and the opportunity to work on high-profile Defence projects.
You will be responsible for:
- Supervising trades personnel to meet maintenance requirements
- Collaborating with stakeholders and contractors to optimize resource allocation
- Conducting scheduled inspections and investigating incidents
- Developing and maintaining effective working procedures with management teams
- Ensuring compliance with Ventia's quality assurance and safety programs
- Handling administrative tasks such as employee induction, training records, and attendance tracking
- Providing employee development and training support
About You:
- Certificate IV or above in business, training, or similar, with Mechanical Fitter experience and basic Fitter Armament knowledge
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience
- MILIS/SAP experience beneficial
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with coaching and team leadership abilities
- Australian citizenship and Defence Security Clearance mandatory
