About the Role
">The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing safe, competent, and contemporary clinical nursing care to residents within the scope of practice as determined by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
">Key Duties
">- Resident Assessments: Compile comprehensive histories from residents and/or family members to identify care needs through resident admissions and ongoing assessments.
- Care Planning: Develop, implement, and regularly evaluate resident care plans as directed and assist with resident admission assessments.
- MED Administration: Administer medications to residents and assume responsibility for correct ordering, storage, and documentation procedures in accordance with organisational policies and procedures.
Requirements
">- Registration and Qualifications: Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and knowledge of the Residential Classification Scale and Standards for Aged Care.
- Skills and Experience: Strong clinical and documentation skills, with an understanding of the aged care accreditation process.
