The Opportunity

We are seeking a Service Advisor to join our dynamic team in Laverton. As a Service Advisor, you will act as a liaison between customers and the Service Department, addressing every customer's needs and concerns by providing appropriate solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, addressing their inquiries, and responding to their service requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Develop extensive knowledge about our products and services to effectively communicate with customers and provide solutions to their needs.
  • Document all vehicle issues and requests accurately and efficiently.
  • Communicate with customers about all vehicle problems, including warranty issues, repairs, and maintenance, in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ensure accurate quotes, costing, and invoicing are provided and recorded.
  • Collaborate with technicians to ensure repairs are completed within the allocated timeframe.
  • Attend to the front counter and all service platforms to respond to customer enquiries.
  • Raise, process, and close repair orders efficiently.
  • Provide order numbers to contractors and sublet invoices to dealers.
  • Perform other duties as required to support the team and achieve dealership goals.

About You

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the Automotive industry would be highly regarded.
  • Qualified Diesel/Motor Mechanic preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on providing exceptional customer experiences.
  • Great attention to detail and organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Outstanding communication skills to effectively communicate with customers, technicians, and other stakeholders.
  • Adequate knowledge of the Automotive or Transport industries.
  • Experience in Auto I.T. systems and costing is desirable.
  • Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as part of a breakdown phone rotation.
  • Flexibility to work as part of a Saturday shift rotation once a month.
