Technical Lead - Data Engineer

In this pivotal role, you will spearhead our data engineering efforts, driving the development and implementation of cutting-edge solutions. As a seasoned professional with expertise in big data technologies, you will be responsible for guiding our team of engineers in the creation of scalable, high-performance systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical direction and guidance to the engineering team.
  • Ensure adherence to engineering standards and best practices.
  • Participate in technical discussions and decision-making.
  • Identify and resolve technical challenges and issues.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to other engineers.
  • Maintain high development standards and practices.
  • Facilitate team communication and collaboration.
  • Mentor junior engineers and foster their growth.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Java, Scala/Spark, API, and Streaming.
  • Expertise in PySpark, Python, and SQL.
  • Experience in Azure cloud platform.
  • Strong understanding of various connectors and pipelines for batch and real-time data collection/delivery.
  • Performance tuning skills, including table partitioning and indexing, process threading.
