About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team at MedHealth Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering holistic, client-centered services within workplace rehabilitation.

As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will be responsible for undertaking early intervention and psychological worksite assessments, medical case conferences, stakeholder liaison, and case management services. You will also provide rehabilitation, motivational, and vocational counselling, as well as vocational assessments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct early intervention and psychological worksite assessments to identify and address workplace hazards and risks.
  • Develop and implement rehabilitation plans to assist injured workers in returning to work and achieving independence.
  • Provide medical case conferences and stakeholder liaison to ensure effective communication and collaboration with clients, employers, and other stakeholders.
  • Deliver rehabilitation, motivational, and vocational counselling to support clients in achieving their goals and returning to work.
  • Conduct vocational assessments to identify suitable employment options for clients.
Requirements
  • Full or provisional registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) or full/associate membership with ASORC/RCAA.
  • Experience in occupational rehabilitation (highly desired but not essential).
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • A go-getter attitude, taking pride in a job well-done.
  • Ability to produce a satisfactory Working with Children Check and Police Clearance.
  • Current driver's license and vehicle.
  • Willingness to learn and impact positively on people's lives in tangible ways.
  • Ability to engage clients and stakeholders in the wellness and work journey.
  • Commitment to a high level of customer service to clients and customers.
