Building Queensland's Infrastructure

We're currently seeking an experienced Lifting Coordinator to join our team at CPB Contractors Pty Limited in Brisbane.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering construction work across a specific geographical area or functional discipline, ensuring effective delivery of planned schedules within time and budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to contribute to site safety, quality, and environmental controls and risk management.
  • Demonstrate commitment to the safety and health framework, policies, and management system requirements and expectations.
  • Review design documentation, read drawings, provide constructive review, and oversee implementation of final designs.
  • Oversee on-site delivery of defined scopes of work on schedule with all stakeholder expectations met.
  • Conduct thorough performance management evaluation for direct and indirect reports as defined by the Performance Management Development System.
  • Review progress against plans, contractual arrangements, and delivery milestones.
  • Manage industrial relations issues and implications and develop appropriate resolutions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in lifting operations in the construction and heavy industry environment.
  • Experience in industry-relevant trades or high-risk roles within the construction operations environment of a similar scale, discipline, and complexity.
  • People and performance management of subcontractors, suppliers, and direct labour.
  • Skill in reviewing design documentation, ability to understand drawings, provide constructability review, and implement final design plans.
  • Safety and environment management, resource management, and construction program and methodology.
  • Applied knowledge of productivity factors and utilisation planning.
  • Manage others in conducting processes and procedures and ensure compliance.
  • Demonstrated skills in leadership, planning & organising, negotiation, and influencing, problem-solving, conflict, and relationship management.
