Job Overview
The Cyber Security Analyst role at Electro Optic Systems is critical to protecting our organization's systems and data from potential security threats.
Key Responsibilities
This role requires a forward-thinking mindset and strong attention to detail. You will work closely with the Cyber and Information Security Manager and collaboratively with the full ICT team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Cybersecurity Toolset Management: Maintaining, configuring, and optimizing cybersecurity tools to ensure effective detection and prevention of security threats.
- Security Event Investigation: Analyzing and responding to security events, including log reviews, incident assessments, and root cause analysis to mitigate risks.
- Threat Intelligence: Staying updated on emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and trends to proactively recommend improvements to security measures.
- Incident Response: Supporting the development and execution of incident response plans, ensuring timely containment, eradication, and recovery from security breaches.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Monitoring security systems and generating detailed reports on events, metrics, and overall system performance for stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Working closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, network, and application teams, to ensure robust security across all systems.
- Compliance: Assisting in ensuring the organization's adherence to relevant security policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Training and Awareness: Providing training or guidance to team members and stakeholders on cybersecurity best practices to enhance organizational security posture.
