Mars Incorporated is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join their dynamic Finance Team. As a key contributor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial advice and guidance to the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the period-end process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting to the parent entity.
- Prepare recurring financial management reports, ensuring compliance, accountability, and accuracy.
- Identify areas for process improvement and drive implementation.
- Support the Financial Operations Manager in managing the financial operations of the business.
- Collaborate with the Mars Tax & Treasury team on tax compliance and audit requests.
Requirements:
- Proven accounting experience, preferably in large corporate or public practice.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or Commerce.
- CPA/CA qualified.
- Strong attention to detail and drive for meeting deadlines.
- Ability to maintain high accuracy in preparing and entering financial information.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude.
