About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Data Analyst to join our UH-60M Black Hawk team based at Gallipoli Barracks in Enoggera. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for analysing, presenting and reporting data trends for Integrated Vehicle Health Monitoring System (IVHMS) data captured from the UH-60M Aircraft fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively contribute to data process improvements, data governance, data architecture and team process improvements.
  • Design, build and maintain enterprise-level business insights dashboards and reports.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of flight recorder and IVHMS data.
  • Conduct regime recognition from IVHMS data.
  • Support Army Aviation Military Flight Operations Quality Assurance (MFOQA) program.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline - typically statistics or IT and/or equivalent industry experience.
  • Highly developed data literacy skills with demonstrated proficiency in Business Intelligence tools, SQL, data warehousing, dimensional modelling and experience with contemporary analytical tools such as Power BI, DAX, and Microsoft Fabric.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse, investigate and interpret data sets, identify trends, present data using BI tools, make recommendations and apply judgement to make meaning of complex and/or sensitive issues.
  • Experience analysing data sets from complex equipment health monitoring systems.
  • Ideally, you will have experience working in a Defence Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG) Systems Program Office (SPO) Design organisation.
