Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic General Practitioner to join our team in a beautiful rural setting. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding and experience of chronic disease management, primary prevention, and screening services.

The successful applicant will be responsible for undertaking a variety of duties including surgery consultations, telephone consultations, visiting patients at home, checking and signing repeat prescriptions, and dealing with queries and paperwork.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Undertaking a range of clinical and administrative tasks
  • Providing high-quality patient care and support
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
  • Participating in audit and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Fully qualified General Practitioner with GMC registration
  • Good understanding and experience of chronic disease management, primary prevention, and screening services
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Awareness of and compliance with relevant practice policies and guidelines
