Contaminated Land Manager Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Contaminated Land Manager. This is a key role that requires a deep understanding of contaminated land management principles and practices.

The successful candidate will have a tertiary qualification in environmental science, hydrogeology, geology or environmental engineering and relevant work experience in an environmental consulting role. They must also possess a working knowledge of relevant SA Environmental legislation and contaminated land guidelines.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to work on challenging projects and contribute to the development of innovative solutions for our clients. As a Contaminated Land Manager, you will be responsible for managing contaminated land remediation projects, conducting site investigations, and developing strategies for site restoration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage contaminated land remediation projects from conception to completion
  • Conduct site investigations and data analysis to identify contamination sources and risks
  • Develop strategies for site restoration and rehabilitation
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve project goals
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in environmental science, hydrogeology, geology or environmental engineering
  • Relevant work experience in an environmental consulting role
  • Working knowledge of relevant SA Environmental legislation and contaminated land guidelines
  • Demonstrated understanding of contaminated land management principles and practices
