Leading Demand Planner

Senior Supply Chain Professional role involves overseeing demand planning, purchasing inventory, and working with internal teams and suppliers. The job incumbent will utilize their well-honed communication skills and problem-solving ability to ensure timely purchasing of products to meet customer demand.
- Purchasing all products on time to meet customer requirements
- Planning supply and logistics activities for production materials and finished products to ensure cost-effective processes from suppliers to customers
- Reviewing open purchase orders for potential changes and ensuring volume coverage to supplied forecasts
- Managing import & drop shipment with the suppliers
- Responsible for customs clearance for imported shipments, including fumigation with customs broker, providing required information/documents.
- Prioritizing import shipments receiving sequence and processing of goods inwards with 3PL
- Verifying import shipment & freight invoices price for payment
- Inventory management, including inventory reconciliation, to provide timely reporting of KPI data and reporting metrics to management as required
- Optimum Inventory Management: Analysis, Purchasing, Stock Analysis, Replenishment
- Validating demand plans including volume at product family and SKU level, and managing adjustments
- Developing, implementing and improving the supply/demand planning methods using SAP tools in the area of responsibility
- M+H forecasting input demand to ensure on-time supply of required materials and components
- Providing analysis on past, current and future supply/demand data to forecast demand volatility
Qualifications and Skills
- University degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or equivalent field of education
- Minimum 3 years' prior experience in demand or supply planning
- Strong communication, negotiation and rapport building skills with all levels of stakeholders
- High capability in usage of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint etc.
- Proficient in analysing data, presenting plans/results, reporting issues, and communicating with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience with ERP systems SAP, MM, PP and Advanced Planning Systems are preferred but not essential
- Excellent collaboration skills: work within a team to achieve common goals and be able to work with other teams and business functions
