Aircraft Maintenance Role

The role of an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer is crucial in ensuring the airworthiness and reliability of aircraft. In this position, you will be responsible for diagnosing malfunctions and performing mechanical duties on various aircraft systems.

  • You will check, correct or replace complex aircraft assemblies, landing gear systems, air conditioning systems, pressurization systems, and optional equipment installations.
  • Additionally, you will repair or replace engine components and accessory items such as fuel control units, air bleed system, oil and fuel pumps, starter/generators, and hydraulic pumps.
  • An annual and progressive inspection procedures set forth in aircraft maintenance manuals will be conducted by you.
  • You will also perform modification work on aircraft systems and structures.
  • Furthermore, you will produce clear, concise and accurate written reports in logs, inspection reports and in parts identification for issue and return documents.
  • Conduct functional checks, engine test runs, instrument tests and alignment, and preventive maintenance on same.

Ensuring all work is performed in a manner consistent with the latest state of the art and highest standards of safety for maintaining aircraft in the most airworthy and reliable condition for the customers' safety is your key responsibility.

Key Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role is required.
  • CASA B1 and Citation type rating/s are essential.
  • You must be a highly self-motivated team player.
  • Travel may be necessary.
