Our organization is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team.

The role will be based at our Ballarat site and will involve supporting our distribution centers and company-owned stores in the supply chain through supply planning, customer relationship management, continuous improvement, and operational compliance. This includes ensuring suppliers are aware of demand expectations, managing pick errors/damaged stock, and carrying out supplier management activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with relevant suppliers to ensure they understand demand requirements
  • Manage processes for pick errors/damaged stock
  • Carry out range of supplier management activities to support logistics operations
  • Support preparation and attendance of supplier meetings
  • Contribute to reviewing existing operations and identifying improvements
  • Identify trends and provide feedback on supplier performance
  • Create processes and procedures to support logistics team

About You:

  • 5 years experience working in logistics within a successful manufacturing business with thousands of SKUs and national retail and warehousing footprint
  • In-depth knowledge of major ERP systems, including Customer Orders, warehousing, transport, and inventory control modules
  • Experience supporting logistics teams to manage suppliers and implement logistics projects
  • Demonstrated ability to influence adoption of new initiatives and processes
  • Strong relational intelligence and capability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong customer-focused communication skills
