Civil Engineer - Project Delivery

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our project delivery team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, project management, and leadership.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a high-profile project that will contribute to the success of our company. As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and construction of a major water infrastructure project in NSW. This includes managing budgets, timelines, and resources, as well as coordinating with stakeholders and team members.

The successful candidate will have a degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, formal project management accreditation, and at least 5 years of experience in project delivery. You will also possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct teams to achieve project goals.

About the Role:
  • Manage project scope, objectives, and constraints
  • Develop and implement project plans, including budgeting and resource allocation
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and team members
  • Lead and direct project teams to achieve project goals

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and construct a 6.2km DN630 HDPE watermain, including integration with existing water infrastructure at two connection points
  • Oversee HDPE pipe installation, PRV installation, and placement of ancillaries such as scours, air valves, and hydrants, followed by site restoration
  • Utilize a combination of open trenching (in both open paddocks and roadways) and trenchless construction along designated sections of the alignment

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical will also be considered
  • Formal Project Management accreditation equivalent to Australian Institute Project Management, Diploma, PMP or equivalent
  • At least 5 years Project Management experience in the Construction Industry (Civil, Utilities and Water Infrastructure projects highly desirable)
