Executive Manager - Buying Opportunity

This exciting full-time position is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end product tender process, managing key project milestones on the critical path, handling administrative tasks, and maintaining the product catalogue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team and actively support their skill enhancement and career growth opportunities.
  • Oversee the product tender process, manage critical path, handle administration and maintain product catalogue.
  • Negotiate weekly costs and supplies with business partners.
  • Support the Buying Director as required with negotiation of fixed tender costs, recommendation on product selection, specifications, market and competitor analysis, reporting and relevant price recommendations.
  • Operational execution of category strategy and management of business partner relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience within a similar role and industry with leadership experience highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, implementing and managing projects for new processes and contracts.
  • A proactive seeker of feedback who fosters personal and team growth through reflection and continuous improvement.
  • A clear communicator who informs, inspires, motivates and influences others to drive team success.
