Job Overview

The Clinical Nurse: Theatre Coordinator is a pivotal position within the Peri-operative unit, responsible for delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assume leadership of the unit as an autonomous and accountable nurse, taking ownership of decisions and actions.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, develop personalized care plans, and supervise the delivery of safe and compassionate care, evaluating its effectiveness.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members, reporting directly to the clinical manager.
  • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Post-graduate qualification in Peri-operative Nursing (not essential)
  • Recent experience in Peri-operative Nursing
  • AHPRA Registration
  • Ability to work independently during periods of high demand, providing clinical leadership
  • Demonstrated communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
