Store Manager Job Description

About The Opportunity:

As Store Manager, you'll be the heart of our new store, driving sales and customer satisfaction. Your leadership will be key to ensuring store success.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead your team to achieve sales targets and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Oversee inventory management, visual merchandising, and store operations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to boost foot traffic and customer loyalty.
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff to foster a positive work environment.
  • Manage store opening projects and ensure a seamless launch.
  • Monitor store performance, manage budget, and prepare regular reports.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and health & safety standards.

About You:

  • Proven experience as Store Manager or similar leadership role in retail.
  • A strong track record of hitting sales targets and driving store performance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong customer and team relationships.
  • Proactive approach with ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Passion for outdoor sports and understanding of Salomon brand and products.
  • Data-driven decision-making skills with ability to turn insights into action.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and public holidays.
