About the Position

The data infrastructure team requires a highly skilled Senior Cloud Data Specialist to oversee data delivery and infrastructure across the organisation.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain robust data ingestion pipelines
  • Manage secure and efficient data transfers into our systems
  • Guarantee timely and accurate delivery of data to support core business functions
  • Monitor data platform performance and recommend infrastructure improvements
  • Develop and implement ETL pipelines using continuous integration and continuous deployment methodologies
  • Contribute to solution design and big data platform strategy development
  • Communicate technical updates and project priorities to leadership
  • Investigate and resolve data-related incidents promptly
About You

This position seeks a motivated and technically capable individual who is eager to grow and contribute to our evolving data landscape. You will bring hands-on experience with data pipelines, cloud platforms, and ETL processes, along with a solid understanding of data infrastructure and performance monitoring.

  • Possess tertiary qualifications in a quantitative discipline
  • Demonstrate significant experience in data management across cloud platforms, data lakes, warehousing, analytics, and business intelligence
  • Show proficiency with BI and analytics tools such as Databricks, SQL Server, Power BI, R, and Python
  • Display a solid understanding of data warehousing, big data architecture, data streaming, and virtualisation
  • Have hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Demonstrate strong development skills in Python and SQL
  • Show experience working within Agile delivery environments
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills
