Metals Fabrication Specialist Job Information

This position requires a professional with the following qualifications:

  • Australian Recognised Trade Certificate in Sheet Metal Work
  • OHS Construction Induction Card (White/Blue Card)
  • Current Working at Heights certification, valid for up to 2 years from date of issue
  • Current Confined Space certification, valid for up to 2 years from date of issue
  • Nationally accredited OHS Card (White/Blue Card)
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening

Key Responsibilities

Carry out on-site measurement and fabrication tasks for lobster backs, reducers, dome ends, valve boxes, trunnions, and transition pieces.

To be successful, you must hold a Construction White/Blue Card, have a High Risk Work License with Forklift and EWP endorsements, Yellow Scissor Lift ticket, current Working at Heights, and Confined Space certifications.

You will need to be highly skilled in various pattern developments and able to achieve a 1st Class Sheet Metal VOC. Additionally, it is essential to demonstrate a strong ability to follow procedures and work safely.

A flexible attitude and the ability to work effectively in high-pressure maintenance and shutdown environments are also required.
