We are looking for a highly skilled and compassionate Aged Care Support Specialist to join our team at Calvary Care.

About the Role

As an Aged Care Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to residents in our care facilities. Your primary focus will be on maintaining a high standard of catering, cleaning, and laundry services, while ensuring the highest level of resident satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a high standard of catering, including food preparation, storage, hygiene, distribution, and serving meals.
  • Follow written protocols for special dietary requests to ensure resident needs are met.
  • Assist with the preparation of dining rooms to create a warm and welcoming environment.
  • Work closely with the food safety plan and legislative guidelines to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Maintain efficient and open communication with residents, staff, and management.
What You Bring
  • Experience in basic food preparation is preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, bubbly personality are a must.
  • Effective time management skills and experience working in a fast-paced environment are essential.
  • A basic understanding of dementia requirements and knowledge of Aged Care standards are highly regarded.
  • A desire to work in a mission-based organisation committed to caring for others.
