About the Role

Our team is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic and driven workforce. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for managing caseloads of participants and designing therapy programs to achieve participant outcomes.

You will assess participants' functional capacity, including physical and psychological abilities through clinical assessment. Additionally, you will work with participants in an aged care setting, using your clinical skills and professional opinion to develop participant-centered goals specific to their circumstances.

We are looking for applicants who have experience in aged care and/or NDIS services, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills. The ideal candidate will also possess exceptional time management, attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of participants and design therapy programs to achieve participant outcomes
  • Assess participants' functional capacity, including physical and psychological abilities through clinical assessment
  • Work with participants in an aged care setting, using clinical skills and professional opinion to develop participant-centered goals
  • Provide best practice evidence-based support services that increase participants' life skills and independence
  • Conduct assessments and provide recommendations to adapt environments for participants, including the provision of assistive technology

Requirements:
  • Occupational Therapist (with AHPRA registration)
  • Experience in aged care and/or NDIS services (highly regarded)
  • Current Police clearance, Working with Children Check & NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Current drivers' license and vehicle (vehicle use reimbursement provided)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management, attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
