We are seeking highly skilled professionals to join our multidisciplinary team as Lead Engineers. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in delivering large-scale construction projects, with a proven track record of successfully managing teams and driving project outcomes.

The successful Lead Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the engineering team, ensuring that all aspects of the project are delivered on time and within budget. This will involve leading by example, promoting a positive culture, and fostering strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. You should also have a solid understanding of project management principles and practices, including planning, risk management, and quality assurance.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the engineering team to deliver high-quality project outcomes
  • Monitor and document all phases of the project
  • Plan and manage resources to ensure optimal utilisation
  • Oversee the preparation of detailed work packs
  • Assist with project plans, schedules, and reporting
  • Identify, investigate, record, monitor, and report on actions, resolutions, and costs of identified vendor NCRs
  • Ensure all variations to scope and specifications are approved, documented, and claims maximised without adversely affecting the client relationship
  • Review completed site quality documentation and compile close-out documents
  • Ensure all projects are completed in accordance with client and statutory quality and safety requirements
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in delivering multidiscipline construction projects in mining and/or other industrial construction environments
  • Construction and/or Project Management qualification is highly desirable
  • Solid working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of software, including Project & Excel
  • Primavera and/or Pronto knowledge would be advantageous
  • A current Australian Drivers Licence
