We are seeking a Fire Safety Engineer to join our team at Minerva Group. As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with senior engineers on live projects across all stages of delivery.
Our team is passionate about delivering high-quality, performance-based fire engineering solutions that protect design intent, manage risk, and support compliance. We take pride in our work and strive to create an environment where our employees can grow and develop their skills.
- Supporting design analysis and fire engineering assessments
- Preparing inputs for smoke modelling and evacuation analysis (we'll train you)
- Drafting regulator-ready documentation for Development Application, Construction, and Fire Brigade submissions
- Attending design workshops and stakeholder meetings
- Contributing to fire strategies that protect design intent, manage risk, and support compliance
- Learning how projects really get delivered - under pressure, with real constraints, in the real world
We're looking for someone who:
- Has a degree in fire safety, mechanical, structural, or civil engineering
- Cares about buildings - how they work, how they feel, how they're delivered
- Communicates clearly (especially when things are unclear)
- Can take feedback, own their mistakes, and try again
- Thinks beyond compliance to see the broader impact of good design
- Wants to become someone who clients trust - not just for technical answers, but for calm, credible advice
