Steel Forklift Operator Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Steel Forklift Operator to fill a key role in our operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handling of steel products within and external to the warehouse environment.
  • Loading and unloading import shipping containers, trucks/trailers, picking orders efficiently.
  • Stock identification and reconciliation processes must be accurate and timely.
  • Knowledge of load restraint guidelines is essential for ensuring safe practices.
  • Competent knowledge and execution of mathematical and English language skills are required.

Requirements

  • Forklift experience with machines up to 5-tonne capacity.
  • A valid Forklift licence (LF) and own transport are mandatory.
  • Experience in handling long/oversized products, including bulk freight and length freight, is desirable.
  • A commitment to safety and adherence to OH&S guidelines is paramount.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment is essential.

Working Conditions

  • Day and afternoon shift starts are available.
  • Casual and full-time opportunities exist within the organisation.

Additional Requirements

  • Must be willing to undergo Drug & Alcohol testing.
  • Desirable skills include holding a Full Driver Licence.
