We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Aged Care Support Worker to join our team at Uniting. In this rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.

About the Role

This is a challenging yet highly fulfilling position that requires a high level of empathy and understanding. As an Aged Care Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing care and support to residents living in our aged care home, helping them to maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.

You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised care plans, ensuring that each resident receives the highest level of care and attention.

This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional care and making a positive impact on the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide daily living assistance, including showering, personal hygiene, dressing, and mealtime support.
  • Assist with medication administration and simple wound dressings.
  • Support residents in community-based recreational and social activities.

Requirements
  • Certificate III/IV in Aged Care or Individual Support (or equivalent qualification).
  • Previous experience in aged or community care (or a passion to begin your career in aged care if you're studying or have recently become qualified).
  • Adaptability, empathy, and resourcefulness.
