About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sleep Technician to join our team at SA Health. As a Sleep Technician, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic sleep studies on patients using a range of monitoring equipment.
- Prepare high-quality reports on sleep studies to contribute to optimal patient treatment.
- Participate in ongoing quality improvement programs to ensure the highest standards of care.
- Contribute to the development of an integrated team approach and culture that is highly responsive to the needs of our consumers.
- Provide technical support for SA Health research studies.
- A Diploma or Advanced Diploma in a relevant technical discipline, such as physiology, psychology, neuroscience, or nursing.
- Ability to apply logical problem-solving skills to equipment malfunctions or non-standard test conditions.
- Previous sleep lab experience is highly desirable but not essential.
