Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Graduate Electrical Engineer to join our team in delivering design completion and defect artefacts according to project timelines. The successful candidate will be accountable for preparing documentation, conducting site inspections, and providing technical designs and specifications.

  • The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of the role include:

  1. Assisting in the preparation of documentation using standard drafting procedures and CAD equipment/software.
  2. Preparing technical documentation, conducting site inspections, and marking up drawings as required.
  3. Providing detailed designs, specifications, and calculations in consultation with senior engineers.
  4. Reporting and tracking progress within relevant registers for meeting and communication with management and stakeholders.
  5. Providing input into necessary documentation applicable to completions and commissioning.
  6. Managing technical queries, drawings registers, and document control.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Minimum 1 year's experience in a similar role within the Mining and Construction Industry.
  • A Bachelor of Engineering and Advanced Diploma of Electrical Engineering.
  • Knowledge of LV power system modelling and light modelling software such as PowerCAD and AGI/Dialux.
  • Practical experience with AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of relevant Australian Standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines with well-developed organisational skills.
  • A positive, can-do attitude, team player, and strong work ethic.
