About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Rail Infrastructure Project Manager to join our Construction Management team in Mackay, QLD.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including scopes of work, programs, service agreements, and risk management plans.
  • Manage cost plans and cash flows to align with customer specifications and expectations.
  • Deliver asset renewal projects, maintenance, and external projects covering general earthworks, formation, bridges, culverts, level crossings, and other rail-associated works.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to identify and resolve delivery roadblocks and escalate when required.
  • Provide advice on project planning and develop project cost estimates, risk assessments, construction methods, procedures, and programs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Civil preferred).
  • CPEng/RPEQ qualifications (or working towards).
  • Current Class C Drivers Licence (mandatory).
  • 5 years' experience in project delivery across mid to large-scale civil projects.
  • High level of skill in planning, organising, and programming of infrastructure construction projects.
  • Familiarity with WHS and Environmental legislation and ability to produce Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), understand company Quality procedures and WHS Act.
  • Strong level of computer skills, including Microsoft and Primavera (preferred).
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills both written and verbal.
  • Willing to commit to travel as needed and willing to relocate to Mackay for the role (NO FIFO/DIDO).

Estimated Salary

$120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
