Project Coordinator, Audit and Assurance Specialist

About Your OpportunityAs a Project Coordinator, Audit and Assurance, you will be part of the Infrastructure Planning and Capital Delivery Group (IPCD). Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading project audit and assurance activities and reporting within the Program/Project Delivery portfolio, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Leading investigations and supporting lessons learned implementation to contribute to best practice and continuous improvement.
- Developing and implementing a robust project assurance strategy and program that aligns with organisational goals and the projects' risk profile.
- Facilitating external project audits, reviews, and investigations within the Program/Project Delivery portfolio.
- Identifying continuous improvement opportunities across all IPCD projects and coordinating business improvement activities.
- Leading Benefits Management workshops for IPCD projects.
- Providing specialist skills and knowledge in the development, review, and implementation of training and induction material, policies, and procedures, program/project reporting relevant to infrastructure planning and capital delivery projects.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in quality assurance, risk, business studies, or a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 5 years' Audit, Assurance, Quality management experience or related field.
- Experience in written and oral communication with a range of stakeholders, including executives, board members, and government officials.
- Experience in leading, mentoring, developing staff, and motivating project support teams.
- Experience in developing, reviewing, documenting, and implementing processes and procedures.
- Experience in coordination and administrative activities in a fast-paced and structured work environment.
- Sound knowledge and/or experience of the principles and processes involved in managing the successful delivery of infrastructure projects.
- Sound knowledge of contract management, quality assurance, environmental management, and workplace health and safety management related to infrastructure projects.
