About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Supervisor to join our team at Voith Group. As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction site, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and optimize work scope to ensure efficient project delivery
  • Analyze and identify potential safety and quality risks, and implement mitigation strategies
  • Effectively communicate work plans with subcontractors and stakeholders
  • Monitor and report progress, identifying areas for improvement
  • Identify non-conformities and provide recommendations for corrective actions
  • Proactively identify, report, and document scope deviations, risks, and opportunities
  • Collect and report One Point Lessons (OPL) and improvement opportunities
  • Review subcontractor's labor, materials, and equipment
  • Establish a safe working environment and support the site team with quality management

Requirements

  • Ability to drive project success with a focus on HSE, quality, schedule, and budget
  • Previous experience as a Site Supervisor or similar role in large hydro power projects or similar industries
  • Proficient technical and operational knowledge of balance of plant mechanical systems
  • Collaborative team player with a customer- and people-oriented approach
  • Proactive mindset in anticipating challenges and delivering strategic problem-solving solutions
  • Fully computer literate with proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English in an international team environment

Working Conditions

  • Able to pass pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol test, and police check
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and climb as necessary
  • Ability to work in an underground environment for an extended period
  • Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights
