Job Title: Storesperson

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Storesperson to join our team at Brisbane Airport. As a Storesperson, you will be responsible for the timely and efficient acceptance of inbound goods and stores destined for use in the catering area.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure goods required by the catering team are available on time and in the required quantities.
  • Ensure delivered items are packed to acceptable hygiene and other specifications.
  • Manage the stock in the store effectively to ensure space is available for incoming goods as required.
  • Maintain the company's policy in relation to HACCP, QSAI, and WHS in accordance with Federal and State Government Regulations.
  • Anticipate potential problems and take appropriate actions to eliminate or manage their impact.
  • Manage relationships based on clear KPIs supported by an effective review mechanism that drives ongoing process and operational improvement.

Requirements:

  • Current Forklift license (high reach preferred).
  • Experience using manual and automated pallet jacks.
  • Good knowledge of basic HACCP/Food Safety and QSAI requirements.
  • Basic understanding of Halal policies and procedures.
  • Good knowledge of WHS.
  • Good knowledge of Storehouse and procedures.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent product knowledge.
  • Availability to work 38 hours/week, as this role is a full-time permanent position.
