About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead our media and corporate affairs function, playing a key role in shaping UniSuper's reputation and driving public relations strategies.

  • Develop and implement integrated media relations plans to increase brand awareness and support member engagement.
  • Manage media enquiries, crafting compelling releases and statements.
  • Identify opportunities to promote UniSuper across earned and owned channels.
  • Lead communications during critical moments.
  • Train and support internal spokespeople.

About You

We're looking for a superb communicator with extensive experience in media management, who is cool under pressure and has a knack for problem-solving.

  • Ability to manage a broad range of stakeholders, including the executive leadership team.
  • Time management and prioritisation skills ensuring efficiency.
  • Creativity and commercial acumen in analysing and creating compelling stories with data.
  • Ability to work independently and self-start.
